Tyson Fury dropped a WWE star with a brutal right hand to destroy world champion dream

Tyson Fury shattered the dreams of a wrestling icon by detonating a thunderous punch on his chin.

In his career, ‘The Gypsy King’ has been renowned more so for his movement than his power, with the Brit bamboozling his opponents with his awe-inspiring footwork.

However, while it’s not necessarily his best quality, the Brit can still pack a punch. After all, Fury knocked Steve Cunningham out cold in an explosive US debut.

And a WWE superstar found out exactly how hard the boxer hits after tasting a brutal right hand.

Tyson Fury left Austin Theory on the floor with a dynamite punch

Tyson Fury is a natural-born performer, with his trash-talking antics in the world of boxing transferring beautifully over to WWE.

After a heated rivalry with Braun Strowman, the former heavyweight world champion headed to WWE Clash at the Castle in 2022, inside the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, UK, with a massive surprise in store.

In the lead-up to the event, many wondered whether the 6ft9 giant might get a spot on the card, and when that didn’t happen, many speculated that he might make a special appearance on the night.

However, when the main event started, in which Drew McIntyre challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, many accepted the possibility that he might not be involved after all.

The headline wrestlers produced a compelling battle, which at one point, saw them both collapsed on the canvas through sheer exhaustion.

Suddenly, an opportunistic Austin Theory sprinted to the ring with his Money in the Bank briefcase, which allowed him to compete for a championship belt at any point of his choosing.

With both McIntryre and Reigns seemingly there for the taking, the 2x United States champion was on the cusp of making his dreams come true, until a heroic Fury saved McIntyre, by launching a punch towards the wrestler’s head, that sent him hurtling toward the floor, seemingly unconscious.

In the end, Reigns managed to win the match. But to cheer up the Scotsman, the boxer jumped in the ring, and the pair serenaded the crowd with a wonderful rendition of ‘American Pie’.

Tyson Fury went down for the first time against an unbeaten star who nailed him with a massive right hand

While Fury is capable of being the hammer, he’s had to be the nail on a few occasions as well.

However, every single time the 36-year-old has been down, he’s gotten back up, with only Oleksandr Usyk being able to have beaten him.

The charismatic boxer successfully rose to his feet against Deontay Wilder, Francis Ngannou and Steve Cunningham.

However, before they all dropped him, Fury hit the canvas after an undefeated monster nailed him with a right hand.
