Conor Benn is set to fight Chris Eubank Jr. on April 26th in London.
Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. were originally scheduled to fight back in 2022, but the fight was cancelled after Benn was found to have been using PEDs, a charge he has since been cleared of.
Now, years later, the fight is going forward once again, and both men will seek to continue the legacy of their fathers.
It seems, from an interview with Benn, who Eubank attacked with an egg, almost ten years ago, that the fight was always destined to happen.

Conor Benn speaks on ‘legendary’ legacy fight years in advance
In an interview reposted by Sky, Benn is asked: “Your dad has had two very very famous fights in the 90’s with Chris Sr. and you’re, what, three or four weight divisions away from Chris Eubank Jr. at the moment but you are 19 and you will continue to grow and you will continue to put weight on.
What chance of you fighting Chris Eubank Jr. at some point in the future?”
Benn replied: “That would be legendary, I’d love that. But it’s so many obstacles I’ve got to get first before we can even consider that, so far it’s just a fantasy for the British public.”
Fantasy no more, Benn puts his undefeated 23-0 record on the line against Eubank Jr. who has lost three of his 37 fights, though avenged one loss to Liam Smith with a knockout in their rematch.
Who has more knockout power – Chris Eubank Jr. or Conor Benn?
Despite being labeled ‘The Destroyer’ like his father Nigel Benn, who fought Eubank twice, Conor has a knockout percentage of 60.8%, with 14 of his 23 wins coming by stoppage.
Benn has failed to stop his last two opponents, and his latest stoppage win came over Chris Van Heerden in 2022.

Eubank Jr., however, boasts 25 knockouts and a knockout percentage of 67.6%, with his latest KO coming in his most recent fight against Kamil Szeremeta for the IBO world title.
Despite this, Eddie Hearn bet £1M on Benn to defeat Eubank Jr.
