Terence Crawford is still considered to be one of the pound-for-pound greats in boxing today. Despite winning his first world title over 10 years ago, ‘Bud’ is still at the top of the game.
Crawford’s last win against Israil Madrimov would be the 41st win of his career as he extended his unbeaten record.
Having a lengthy and prolific career, there are many performances that fans can hail as Crawford’s best. Although his convincing win over Errol Spence Jr. will spring to mind for most, he is not short of impressive outings.
This includes a 2017 world title unification bout, where Crawford was able to make quick work of his opponent.

Terence Crawford defeated Julius Indongo via third-round knockout
In August of 2017, Crawford would look to unify the super lightweight division. As the holder of the WBC and WBO world titles, ‘Bud’ would put his belts on the line to chase greatness.
The holder of the IBF and WBA World Super Lightweight titles was Julius Indongo (22-0). Fighting out of Namibia, ‘Blue Machine’ was looking to hand Crawford his first professional loss.
However, it was a dominant performance from the American to become one of the few undisputed world champions in the four-belt era.
In the second round, Crawford would catch the fellow champion with a left hand to score a knockdown, causing the crowd to erupt. However, Indongo would survive the round.
The third round would have even more misfortune for Indongo. A thumping left hand from Crawford would meet the midsection of the Namibian, putting the fighter down in clear pain.
Unable to beat the count, the sounding body shot would be the final punch of the fight as Crawford became an undisputed champion.

Terence Crawford moved to welterweight following undisputed title claim
After winning the undisputed title at super lightweight, Crawford would set his sights on a move to welterweight.
In June 2018, Crawford challenged Jeff Horn (18-0-1) for the WBO World Welterweight title. However, the champion was not able to put up much of a fight against the pound-for-pound king.
After winning the opening eight rounds of the bout, Crawford would end the bout in round nine. He would then retain the title six times before competing for undisputed glory.
Defeating Spence Jr., Crawford became an undisputed champion in a second weight class. The win came in 2023, as ‘Bud’ was the victor via TKO.
