Phillipino superstar Manny Pacquiao has an epic highlight reel of amazing fights.
From his brutal dismantling of Oscar De La Hoya to Pacquiao’s devastating knockout of Ricky Hatton, there may never be another fighter like ‘Pac-Man’.
As one of the greatest lightweights of all time, the former champion hung up his gloves in 2021, following a defeat to Yordenis Ugas. With a final record of 62-8-2, Pacquiao’s losses have only come to the very best.
As well as this, Pacquiao was even able to get revenge on one of his opponents who got the better of him.

Manny Pacquiao met Erik Morales for the first time in 2005
In his first outing of 2005, Pacquiao would look to become a super featherweight champion following a move from the division below.
To do this, he would have to get past Erik Morales, the former world champion of the division who had a 47-2 record.
The two would meet in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas as the vacant IBA World Super Featherweight and WBC International Super Featherweight titles were on the line. However, Pacquaio’s record would fall to 39-3-2, as the ‘Pac-Man’ would be bested by Morales.
Although the fight was a competitive one, the Mexican Morales would get a unanimous decision victory as the fight went all 12 rounds.
Pacquiao would bounce back from the loss with a TKO victory over Hector Velazquez before rematching Morales in January 2006.

Manny Pacquiao would deliver a late knockout in rematch with Erik Morales
Less than a year after their first meeting, the Philippine and Mexican fighters shared the ring once again. However, the result would be very different.
The fight was once again a close one, however, it would not go the distance. Described as a fan online as, “One of the greatest technical slugfests in the history of boxing,” the crowd was electric during the back-and-forth battle.
In the 10th round, Pacquiao rounded out a much-improved performance with an epic finish. With 30 seconds left after knocking the Mexican down, ‘Pac-Man’ poured on the pressure, before eventually causing his foe to crumble against the ropes.
As the Mexican slumped, the referee called off the fight.
The pair would have a rubber match in November of 2006, with Pacquaio winning the series with two wins to one. A third-round knockout for the legend would round out an amazing trilogy between the two.
