Heavyweight prospect Johnny Fisher could be on a trajectory to become Britain’s next heavyweight champion.
The 26-year-old ‘Romford Bull’ currently boasts a 13-0 record, where all but two of his wins have come by knockout.
The heavyweight finisher hails from London, and Fisher has generated a lot of attention with his impressive performances.
Fisher began his career as he intended to go on. Making his debut in 2021, the Englishman had an impressive performance to get off on the right foot.

Johnny Fisher earned a first-round knockout in his professional debut
Unlike many other fighters, Fisher did not have a lengthy amateur career. It is understood that Fisher only boasted 10 wins in the amateurs before turning professional.
However, among those 10 victories, nine of them came via first-round knockout.
Then, in 2021, Fisher would step into the ring for the first time as a professional. Competing in London he came up against Matt Gordon (2-5-1) at Wembley Arena.
Despite not having much experience, Fisher did not seem eager to clock in minutes as a professional. Instead, he opted for an early night.
Fisher started early, hunting down his opponent from the opening bell. With Gordon not providing much in return, Fisher’s punches began to add up.
After an impressive opening two minutes, 21-year-old Fisher would deal a damaging blow to his opponent, leading to Gordon receiving a count. However, going down shortly after the restart, the referee waved off the fight.
Johnny Fisher was knocked down in split decision victory
Fisher’s last bout would see him face the biggest bit of adversity in his career, as he was knocked down by David Allen.
The pair met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in December 2024, on the undercard of Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury 2. Although Allen came into the bout with a less impressive 23-6-2 record, compared to Fisher’s 12-0 one, he would cause the prospect trouble.
Put down by short punches off the clinch in round five, Fisher would survive the count and finish the bout.
The young heavyweight was given the split decision victory. However, fans felt Allen was the victor of the fight. Due to the nature of the decision, Allen and Fisher will rematch on May 17th, 2025. Although there were rumors Fisher will fight at Brisbane Road, the two will meet at the Copperbox Arena.
