Jake Paul went the distance for first time in his career when he faced former UFC champion in 2021

‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul will be looking for his 12th professional win inside the ring when he takes on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June 2025.

Aiming to make it six wins in a row, Paul has not tasted defeat since he faced his hardest-hitting opponent, Tommy Fury.

Paul is taking on the son of one of the greatest Mexican boxers of all time, Chavez Jr. When they fight, the former world champion will be the most experienced boxer Paul has ever faced, with 61 fights.

In 2021, Paul would have his finishing streak stopped by a fighter making their boxing debut.

Jake Paul went the distance with Tyron Woodley in 2021

Following wins over debutants Ali Eson Gib, Nate Robinson, and Ben Askren, Paul faced former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

For the fourth bout of his career, he would take on Woodley, who was making his professional boxing debut. Going into the fight, Paul had only competed in four rounds of professional boxing.

Woodley had an MMA record of 19-7, with seven of his wins coming by way of knockout.

The pair fought in Ohio as Paul went into the fight at 24 years of age, while Woodley was 15 years his senior at 39. However, the bout would be a close affair.

The fight would go the distance as Paul and Woodley fought through all eight scheduled rounds. A key moment of the fight would include the former UFC star seemingly stunning Paul with a right hand in round four.

Despite the big moment from Woodley, the judges would award Paul the win via split decision.

Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley would have a rematch following Tommy Fury withdrawal

Following his win over Woodley, Paul was scheduled to fight fellow internet star Tommy Fury in December 2021. However, Fury withdrew from the bout, with Woodley stepping in for a rematch.

Unlike their first meeting, the second affair between Paul and Woodley would not be close. After an impressive showing in the opening rounds, Paul closed the show in round six.

A thumping right hand from the YouTuber put the former MMA champion face down.

The fight was immediately called off, as Paul extended his unbeaten record to 5-0.
