Jake Paul has the edge over KSI, according to a boxing personality… ‘It would be a very hard battle’

Jake Paul would make for an extremely tough challenge for KSI, according to a popular commentator.

‘The Problem Child’ made his most recent trip to the ring last month in a comprehensive victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Meanwhile, ‘The Nightmare’ last fought in a losing effort against Tommy Fury all the way back in 2023.

And one analyst believes this lack of activity could make the difference if the pair were to ever go head-to-head.

Jake Paul is a very tough fight for KSI, says Ben Davis

Ben Davis has given his thoughts on a match-up between Jake Paul and KSI.

While the American would love to see the pair battle it out, he confesses that his countryman’s superior experience could give him the edge.

In an exclusive interview with Bloody Knockout, he said: “It’s very hard. If I were to remove the names from the equation and you’re just looking at them on paper, you’d have to lean towards Jake Paul because of the experience and the amount of times he’s made the walk.

“He’s fought a decent calibre of competition that certainly eclipses what JJ has been able to do inside the ring.

“For me, it’s activity. We’ve not seen KSI since his defeat to Tommy Fury, and from that point forward, it’s just been Jake Paul making the walk against name after name with varying degrees of difficulty, sure, but it’s still getting out there, training, and being involved in that lifestyle.

“KSI, we love how diverse he is and how his time and energy are almost infinite in what he can create, but the reality is, with all the projects he has going on: Baller League, Britain’s Got Talent — those are moments where he’s not in the gym.

“Where is Jake Paul? He’s in the f—— gym.

“It would be a very hard battle for KSI to win this fight if it happened today, but that’s where he’s best, when he’s counted out.

“I’d still love to see it.”

However, as much as he’d like to call the action between the pair, Davis would rather Paul fight Badou Jack.

Who’s more intimidating, Francis Ngannou or CT?… Ben Davis reveals all

Recently, Davis has swapped the world of combat sports for reality TV, signing up for The Challenge 41: Vets and New Threats, which airs this Thursday on MTV.

In his career, the 25-year-old has been around some of the toughest men on the planet, including Francis Ngannou.

However, while filming the show, he spent time with one of the scariest men on television — Chris ‘CT’ Tamburello.

When asked whether he’d rather do a Hall Brawl with CT, or take a body shot from Ngannou, Davis replied: “Chris Tamburello is a monster like no other, and while I’ve had such great experiences in the combat sports landscape and I’ve been around menacing fighters, when CT comes into the kitchen, you know that big man is about to eat.

“I would rather do the Hall Brawl against CT because there are ways to win against larger competitors in Hall Brawls. If I just have to sit there and eat a body shot, there’s nothing I can do.

“With CT, maybe I can tie up the legs or go around him. I think I’d rather do the Hall Brawl.”
