KSI’s Misfits Boxing has been responsible for some strange moments in the sport, but perhaps no face-off has been as bizarre as one between two magicians.
KSI began his boxing career off the back of his YouTube career when he faced Joe Weller and then Logan Paul in the ring.
In the rematch, KSI defeated Paul on a card that also featured Billy Joe Saunders and Devin Haney.
The Brit soon created his own promotional company and hosts regular events in the field of crossover boxing, including one undercard fight with two magicians.

Magician spits out playing cards and throws them in opponent’s face
Misfits is known for its strange matchmaking, and even stranger formats, with Misfits 008 in 2023 introducing ‘Survivor Tag’, a tag team concept in which boxers could tap out of the match to swap with another opponent at any point.
On the undercard, The Magic Crasher clashed with Jack Grady, a magician who lasted just 11 seconds on America’s Got Talent.
The pair’s fight was entertaining, but more entertaining was the face-off that preceded it.
In the face-off, both fighters produced various magic tricks whilst staring the other down. This included making a cane appear out of nowhere, and producing playing cards from one’s mouth before throwing them at their opponent.
Fans reacted to the face-off hilariously, with comments such as:
“I gotta say the handkerchief to the staff was the coolest s— I’ve ever seen”
Another wrote: “Bro actually just pulled those cards from nowhere”
One summed up the altercation: “This is what it must look like when two of the most powerful wizards duel”
Magician KO’s opponent – no tricks needed
Despite the jokes and tricks in the build-up, the fight itself was no trick, and the pair fought hard for the first round before the tide changed dramatically in the next.
Jack Grady caused The Magic Crasher to crash to the canvas in the second round. He did get back to his feet but the ref had seen enough and waved off the fight.
Grady adorned his trademark top hat after being announced the winner of his debut match.
This marked just one of many strange instances in boxing, such as when British comedian Ricky Gervais boxed under Lennox Lewis’ manager‘s guidance or internet sensation ‘The Rizzler’ broke a boxing target, wowing onlookers.
