Gervonta Davis boasts a 30-0-1 record after his recent draw with Lamont Roach Jr.
Gervonta Davis had amassed a record of 16-0 before he fought for his first world title in the super featherweight division on the undercard of James DeGale vs Badou Jack, a fight which saw Badou Jack punch the referee by mistake.
It was this fight that skyrocketed Davis to stardom.

Gervonta Davis delivers fireworks as he folds opponent in world title win
In 2017 Davis faced 22-0 Jose Pedraza for his IBF title, in a fight which showcased Tank’s ability in the ring.
Surprisingly, Davis’ nickname ‘Tank’ is due to him having a large head as a youngster, and has nothing to do with his power.
Davis has a 90% KO rate and of his 30 wins, only two men have made it to the final bell. Pedraza was not one of them.
The seventh round saw Davis land a flurry of shots on Pedraza, dazing him before sending him to the canvas, half hanging through the ropes.
He got to his feet but the fight was waved off. The win made Davis, who claims to be the face of boxing, the youngest world champion in boxing at the time at the age of 22.
Gervonta Davis reacts to ridiculous scorecards in biggest fight of his career
In 2023 Davis fought and beat Ryan Garcia in a mega-fight in Las Vegas. Davis dropped Garcia in rounds two and seven, and stopped him with a lethal body shot that left him unable to continue.
After the fight, in the post-fight press conference, Tank’s attention was brought to some issues with the judges’ scorecards:
“In the second round, the round that Tank knocked Garcia down, one of the judges scored it 10-10, and the other two judges had it 10-9,” a reporter said.
Given Davis’ knockdown over Garcia should equal a point deduction, a 10-10 card can be branded as ridiculous.
Davis looked clearly perplexed by the scores, wondering how on Earth they could even be possible.
