After Teofimo Lopez’s big win against Arnold Barboza Jr. and Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis’ win over Eimantas Stanionis, the two are reportedly in talks for a fight of their own.
Teofimo Lopez delivered the best of a bad bunch as he impressed against Arnold Barboza Jr. on an otherwise lackluster card in Times Square. Barboza was criticized for his efforts, though Lopez proved to be levels ahead.
Now seeking another big name for his record, Lopez has reportedly entered negotiations with Jaron Ennis for a mega-fight between the two, though one former world champion fears for Ennis.

Tim Bradley warns Jaron Ennis he cannot slip against Teofimo Lopez
In a now-gone post on social media, former world champion Tim Bradley, who defeated Manny Pacquiao once, suggested Boots will have his hands full against Lopez.
He noted that despite Boots’ physical advantages in height and reach, Lopez is the far more skilled fighter in terms of experience and timing.

He also pointed at the opposition both men have faced, with Lopez beating Josh Taylor, Sandor Martin, Arnold Barboza Jr. and, of course, Vasyl Lomachenko. Ennis, however, has not beaten many fighters of note aside from Karen Chukhadzhian, who Ennis couldn’t finish, and Eimantas Stanionis.
Bradley said: “Boots, all these lapses that you’re having, you ain’t gonna be able to have them with Teofimo Lopez […] When his mind’s right, it’s hard to beat that dude.”
Tim Bradley vs Manny Pacquiao was scored so badly a judge quit not long after
In Bradley’s fight with Pacquiao, for many, it was a clear win for the Filipino fighter. However, after 12 rounds, Bradley got the win when two judges controversially scored the fight in his favor, causing him to win by split decision.

One of those judges, less than a year and a half later, named C.J. Ross, scored Canelo vs Floyd Mayweather a draw, a card so controversial she resigned not long after.
She wrote, according to BoxRec, to the Nevada State Athletic Commission: “I will be taking some time off from boxing but will keep in touch.”
