Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest boxers of all time, and was no stranger to playing the heel in and outside of the ring.
Floyd Mayweather retired with a perfect record of 50-0 after defeating Conor McGregor in his final pro fight.
He won 15 major world championships across five weight divisions, and is widely regarded as the best to ever lace up the gloves.
It was in his 140-pound debut, though, that Mayweather made a statement win, and told his opponent to stop crying.

Floyd Mayweather told DeMarcus Corley to stop crying ahead of his debut win at 140
In 2002, Mayweather, who beat Canelo, faced a tough test in the form of Jose Luis Castillo, who gave a good enough account of himself that Mayweather did something he rarely does, and granted a rematch.
After defeating Castillo in the second fight, Mayweather made two more defenses of his WBC lightweight title, before moving up to super-lightweight against 28-2-1 DeMarcus Corley.
Corley was coming off a split decision loss to the legendary Zab Judah.
The fight was not close, as Mayweather, who beat Manny Pacquiao, proved himself to be levels ahead of his opposition, even at this new weight.
Mayweather was so dominant in his performance that he was recorded telling Corley to ‘stop crying’, something he said several times before giving him something to cry about, as he sent him down to the canvas.
Mayweather, who had a tooth knocked out by Marcos Maidana, had injured his shoulder in the fourth round, but said, according to BoxRec, that: “A true champion will fight through anything.”
Corley had just one thing to say about Mayweather: “There’s no question Mayweather will be a force at 140. He really is tough.”
Floyd Mayweather scored two knockouts in the last 15 years
Many will remember the huge spectacle that was Mayweather vs McGregor, in which Mayweather stopped the debutant MMA champion in the tenth round of their crossover bout.
Mayweather’s last knockout before McGregor was six years earlier, when he stopped 29-2-2 Victor Ortiz.
He stopped Ortiz in the fourth round with what many regard as a dirty shot, punching Ortiz immediately after he apologized for a foul.
Mayweather received a lot of backlash for the win, but cited the referee’s instructions – Protect yourself at all times.
