In 2021, Floyd Mayweather took on Logan Paul in one of the most highly anticipated exhibition boxing matches of all time.
In the lead-up to the fight, the pair had a press conference that ended in the legendary sportsman losing his cool, but it wasn’t down to ‘The Maverick’; rather, it was his little brother, Jake Paul.
In a moment of madness, the pair squared up and started arguing over a potential fight, when suddenly, ‘The Problem Child’ screamed the infamous words, ‘Got your hat’, before attempting to run off with the icon’s headwear.
Of course, it didn’t take long, for Mayweather’s bodyguards to catch the influencer, with several men swarming him, in an attempt to retrieve their boss’ belonging.
The situation quickly spiralled out of control, with punches being thrown.
In an interview on the You’re Welcome Podcast with Chael Sonnen, Paul explained: “It was sort of sensory overload with everything that was going on. There was like eight guys around me, all grabbing me, some hitting me in the leg. I’m holding onto (Mayweather’s) hat; I was holding onto his hat for dear life. I was like, ‘No! I’m not letting go!’
“That was the main thing that they were concerned about. They were like, ‘Give us the f—— hat! Give the hat!’ And I was like, ‘Nooooooo!’ And then finally they got the hat.
“And then, yeah, I just see this angry Floyd Mayweather. I couldn’t believe it. One of his security guards had my shirt wrapped around his hand, and so I couldn’t get away.
“He just comes running at me, and he’s throwing punches over the security guard, and I’m literally just like, ‘Oh, wow, this is crazy.’
“The funny thing about it was that none of the punches were even coming close to me, and he actually punched his own security guard in the side of the head. But, yeah, [it was an] absurd moment, hilarious.”

While several years have passed since their brawl, it doesn’t look like Mayweather and Paul are close to burying the hatchet.
Throughout his career, the 50-0 boxer developed a reputation for his trash-talking skills.
And while the talented athlete is officially retired, he’s not afraid to fire verbal bombs if he believes it’s necessary.
In a recent interview, Mayweather took aim at Paul with a brutal fight prediction.
