Conor Benn may have fallen short against Chris Eubank Jr., but he certainly impressed with his performance.
Chris Eubank Jr. won a unanimous decision over Conor Benn last night in front of 65,000 fans. The night was electric with thrilling moments right from the start of the card – from Chris Billam-Smith’s heartfelt moment with Brandon Glanton to Chris Eubank Sr.‘s arrival at the stadium with his son.
The fight was back-and-forth and never had a dull moment as both fighters left it all in the ring.
Eubank Jr. is now nearing the end of his career, but there are five potential opponents Benn may face next:

Chris Eubank Jr.
The first and most obvious next opponent is Eubank Jr. again. Their parents fought twice and their fight last night more than lived up to expectations. The fans would love to see it again, and Benn is surely hopeful he can right his wrong against the Eubanks who are now 2-0 over the Benns.

Mario Barrios
This was the only other name mentioned by Benn in his post-fight interview in the ring. He expressed that he either wanted a rematch with Eubank Jr. or wanted to make his bid for the welterweight world titles.
Mario Barrios, who has a record of 29-2-1 having lost only to Keith Thurman and Gervonta Davis, holds the WBC welterweight belt and seems to be a champion that Benn has a good chance of beating.

Abel Ramos
If he can’t get Eubank Jr. or Barrios, Abel Ramos may be the next best thing. Ramos is not a champion, but most recently proved his ability when he fought to a draw with Barrios in November 2024.
Ramos has a record of 28-6-3.

Josh Taylor
Ahead of his fight with Eubank Jr., Benn revealed the fight began as a joke after a few opponents fell through. One of these names was Josh Taylor, ‘The Tartan Tornado’ and former undisputed world champion. Harlem Eubank also wants to fight Taylor.
Taylor has had two back-to-back losses recently after losing to Teofimo Lopez and Jack Catterall, and now has a record of 19-2.
He is scheduled to face 21-1 Ekow Essuman next.

Jose Ramirez
29-2 Jose Ramirez was another name Benn mentioned. The former world champion who was beaten by Taylor for the undisputed crown is currently set to face Devin Haney on the same card as Ryan Garcia vs Rolly Romero in May.
It remains to be seen which of these fights may happen next, if any, though Benn made his intentions clear in the ring last night – either a rematch with his most bitter rival, or a shot at a world title.
