Eddie Hearn boasts a crop of extremely talented fighters, but one butted heads with the promoter back in 2021.
Eddie Hearn currently promotes five middleweights, with one being billed as a future star of the sport.
Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams most recently defeated Patrice Volny in his second fight back since losing to Hamzah Sheeraz.
Williams and Hearn, who Gervonta Davis hates, seem on good terms now as Ammo’s career continues to grow, but this was not always the case.

Ammo Williams rapped about dogs and Eddie Hearn in confusing diss track
In 2021, Ammo released a diss track on his promoter, Hearn. In the opening of the track, Williams says:
“Eddie Hearn you’s a b—-, […] you a f—— p—- bro you ain’t never been in them streets, and it was all good coz I knew the game, but the worst thing you did was disrespect my motherf—— dog.”
The rap includes lines about Hearn such as: “You lucky you was born with that motherf—— bread because if you wasn’t I would’ve been busted your head.”
The rap came at a time when Williams appeared to be suffering a mental breakdown, something which led to him taking nine months off the sport in 2021. It’s unknown what Hearn is said to have done to disrespect Ammo’s dog.
This came years before Ammo’s appearance on the Matchroom vs Queensberry 5v5, in which Sheeraz, who drew with Carlos Adames recently, claimed extra points for Frank Warren‘s team when he stopped Williams.
Ammo Williams reflected on difficult times ahead of his ring return
At the press conference for Devin Haney versus JoJo Diaz Jr., on the undercard of which Williams was set to fight Quatavious Cash, he spoke out about his troubles:
“We took this time, we focussed on, y’know, my personal life.”
Hearn, who bet £1M on Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr., prompted Ammo to elaborate when he said: “I feel it’s also important for young men to understand what you went through.”
Williams responded: “A boxer’s life has a lot of pressure in it, we fight for our life, […] People can turn on you from one day to the next, so a fighter deals with a lot.”
