In October 2023, MMA fighter Dillon Danis took on WWE star Logan Paul in a crossover boxing match.
Paul went into the bout looking for his first win in the boxing ring, having had three previous bouts in his career.
Facing fellow YouTuber KSI in his first fight, the amateur bout ended in a draw, with the two internet stars rematching professionally the following year.
KSI would be the winner of the rematch bout via split decision as Paul would go on to fight Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition in his third fight.
As for Danis, the 2-0 MMA fighter was making his first boxing outing, with his background mostly lying in jiu-jitsu. However, just like the matchup, the bout had an unorthodox ending.

Dillon Danis lost his boxing debut via disqualification
When Danis and Paul met in Manchester, the bout was not quite as fiery as the pre-fight antics in the opening rounds.
Danis was largely inactive in the opening rounds of the fight, as Paul was the fighter landing many more punches.
The third round of the fight would even see the MMA fighter lie flat on his back, seemingly inviting Paul in for a grappling exchange. However, Paul continued to lead the fight.
In the final round of the bout, there would be a chaotic ending to the fight. Halfway through the round, Danis would attempt to take Paul down with his wrestling skills. However, the referee separated the fighters as security began to enter the ring.
Danis was deducted a point, however, the MMA fighter would be disqualified moments later.
Grabbing the neck of Paul, Danis attempted to drag him to the floor to perform an MMA submission. However, Paul would pull his neck out, punch Danis, and walk away.
As Paul walked away, Danis chased after him and the ring began to fill with security guards.
The bout was waved off amid the chaos, with Danis being the official loser due to unsportsmanlike conduct.
Dillon Danis to take on KSI in boxing match in 2025
Despite the chaos he caused in his Paul bout, Danis will once again fight under the Misfits Boxing promotion in 2025.
Danis will take on friend and business partner of Paul, KSI as the two are set to meet in March 2025.
The MMA fighter has not fought since his Paul bout.
As for KSI, he fought in the main event of Paul vs Danis, losing to Tommy Fury in his last bout. The YouTuber was originally meant to fight former football player Wayne Bridge, as well as KSI being understood to have had talks with Amir Khan in the past.
Meanwhile, Paul has briefly discussed the prospect of fighting Gervonta Davis.
