Dillian Whyte sent a warrior hurtling toward the canvas after detonating a thunderous blow on his ‘granite chin’.
Throughout his career, ‘The Body Snatcher’ has developed a huge reputation for his ferocious power, with his left hook regularly doing the business.
While not the most technically gifted competitor in the heavyweight division, there’s no denying the British-Jamaican carries some serious venom in his hands.
Even the toughest of fighters have crumbled under the wrath of his power punches.

Dillian Whyte dropped Joseph Parker with a left hook
On July 28, 2018, Dillian Whyte went to war with Joseph Parker at the O2 Arena in London, UK.
During the build-up to the contest, the New Zealander’s promoter at the time, David Higgins of Duco Events, regularly referred to his boxer’s formidable.
With Parker now having shared the ring with many a great fighter, his toughness has been proven beyond doubt.
However, even the sturdiest of chins can break if enough pressure is applied.
In the first round of their contest, the former WBO King utilized his far superior skill to outbox Whyte.
But when it turned into a firefight, it was the Brixton brawler who looked the more comfortable, landing heavy blows on his adversary.
While Whyte secured a flash knockdown in the second, it wasn’t until the ninth that he was able to unleash the full force of his power, sending Parker crashing towards the canvas with a left hook.
However, while that shot had taken out many a top-level boxer in the past, the ex-heavyweight King rose to his feet, and continued fighting, almost taking the hometown hero out in the final round.
In the end, Whyte survived the storm and emerged with a unanimous decision victory.
When will Dillian Whyte fight next?
Whyte last fought in a brawl where he took huge shots against Ebenezer Tetteh, en route to securing a seventh-round stoppage back in December.
He was scheduled for a massive domestic showdown with Joe Joyce on April 5, but an injury sustained to his finger forced him out of the contest.
Reports suggested the brawler was hoping for a May return, which hasn’t come to fruition.
In an interview with talkSPORT, Hughie Fury said that there had been talks for a clash between the pair in Ireland.
Whyte’s next fight is yet to be officially confirmed, with the scrapper itching to get back in the ring.
