Deontay Wilder reveals his favorite knockout from his entire career… ‘Things did get heated between me and him’

Deontay Wilder has many an explosive knockout on his resume, but one stands out from the pack.

In his legendary career, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has cemented his status as one of the biggest punchers in boxing history, rendering unconscious an array of formidable fighters.

Wilder left Siarhei Liakhovich twitching on the floor after landing a huge right hand, and overcame a scare to beat Luis Ortiz in his defining victory.

However, the finish he loves the most came against one of his biggest rivals.

Deontay Wilder says Dominic Breazeale is his favorite knockout

After a heated build-up, Deontay Wilder finally had his chance to get his hands on Dominic Breazeale in a huge grudge match on May 18, 2019, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, USA.

After months of back-and-forth, it took just a single round for possibly the hardest puncher the sport of boxing has ever seen to detonate his explosive right hand and knock his adversary out cold.

When asked to pick his number one finish during an exclusive interview with Bloody Knockout, the former WBC world heavyweight champion replied: “I think my favorite one goes back to the Dominic Breazeale knockout because of the intensity and the storyline that came with it.

“I was being lied on about a lot of things, and people try and take my character inside of boxing and press conferences, try and judge me on who I am, you’ve got to get to know a person. We’re going to promote, motivate, inspire, and say things we have to say.

“I speak from the heart all of the time. That’s why I’m one of the realest in the business. Yeah, we’ve got to put on a show. A lot of motherf—— be lying about stuff, but that’s just not my taste. I don’t carry myself that way.

“Things can get heated, and things did get heated with me and him, and I took it very personally. When I go back and think about things, and even when I close my eyes, he’s always the one who pops up.

“It used to be the Artur Szpilka one, shoutout to Barclays Center, I’ve always got a dramatic knockout there. But Dominic Breazeale is the one that always lingers.”

Deontay Wilder says it’s ‘on sight’ with Jarrell Miller during explosive rant

While Wilder had a real dislike for Breazeale, his feud with Jarrell Miller might be even more intense.

The pair of trash-talkers don’t get along, with both boxers throwing verbal bombs at each other whenever the opportunity presents itself.

With that in mind, the prospect of the fighters sharing the ring is undoubtedly an interesting prospect.

Now, Wilder has explained why it’s ‘on sight’ with Miller.
