Conor Benn dropped a unanimous decision loss to Chris Eubank Jr. last night, and whilst many call for a rematch, one pundit believes there’s a better alternative.
Conor Benn moved up in weight to face Chris Eubank Jr. in a clash of two sons of legends. The night was a thrilling one with an undercard of electrifying fights.
Chris Billam-Smith shared a touching moment with Brandon Glanton after outpointing him to get back to winning ways, whilst Aaron McKenna delivered a shut-out victory over Liam Smith.
The main event certainly lived up to the hype, and yet one pundit believes we shouldn’t see it again.

Pundit believes Conor Benn could face Harlem Eubank instead of rematching Eubank Jr.
Boxing presenter, journalist, and pundit, Adam Catterall, took to X to applaud both men but to suggest we don’t need to see the fight again.
Catterall cited the weight difference of the men as the reason why the fight need not be repeated, with Eubank Jr. missing weight due to the difficult weight cut and Benn moving up two divisions to face him.
He pointed at an interesting alternative though – Eubank Jr.’s cousin, Harlem Eubank, who previously called out Josh Taylor, is a natural welterweight who has fought and won at 147 in his last couple fights.
As a result, we could potentially see Benn vs Eubank again, just not the Eubank most would think.
Harlem Eubank beat Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis’ sparring partner in his latest fight
Eubank’s latest fight came in Brighton, a city that means a lot to his family as Eubank Sr. and Jr. have resided there for years.
He fought 24-5-1 Tyrone McKenna, who had shared the ring with skilled operators like Regis Prograis and Ohara Davies. He is also a frequent sparring partner for Jaron Ennis. Despite his five losses, only two had come by stoppage.
That is until Eubank faced him, and stopped him in the tenth round.
