Chris Eubank Jr. has had a successful career with the fighter aiming to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Carrying on Chris Eubank’s rivalry with Nigel Benn, Eubank Jr. will aim to round off his feud with Conor Benn with a victory. As Eubank Jr. will face Benn on April 26th, the all-British affair will be a fiery bout.
However, this will not be the first time Eubank Jr. has been involved in a high-profile fight with a fellow countryman. Eubank Jr. had his first defeat to Billie Joe Saunders, as well as facing George Groves in a huge bout.
To set up the fight with Groves, Eubank had an impressive knockout in Germany.

In the quarter-finals of the 2017-2018 World Boxing Super Series super middleweight tournament, Eubank Jr. would fight Avni Yildirim.
Yildirim was an undefeated fighter with a 16-0 record. He fought Eubank Jr. in Stuttgart, Germany, in October 2017. However, despite his impressive record, the Englishman would earn the 26th win of his career.
In the opening round, the Turkish fighter was forced to take a knee following a stinging uppercut from Eubank Jr.
As the fight progressed, Eubank Jr. continued to find the mark against his undefeated opponent. As the Englishman’s speed was seemingly too much for his opponent, he was able to close the bout in round three.
A striking left hook would find the chin of Yildirim, with the bout being immediately waved off as the fighter hit the canvas.
The win improved Eubank Jr.’s record to 26-1, as the Turkish fighter suffered his first loss. In the semi-finals of the tournament, Eubank Jr. would take on Groves.
Chris Eubank Jr. suffered his second professional loss to George Groves
In February 2018, Eubank Jr. and Groves would meet in the semi-final of the World Boxing Super Series. Groves had won his quarter-final against Jamie Cox (24-0) and had a professional record of 27-3.
The British pair would fight in Manchester, however, Eubank Jr. would be eliminated from the tournament, losing via decision.
Although Eubank Jr. would have success in the bout, Groves was undoubtedly the winner, as he moved on to the final. However, ‘Saint George’ would lose to Callum Smith via knockout in what was the last outing of his career in the final of the tournament.
