Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn went to war in April as the bitter rivals finally met in the ring in London.
Competing in a middleweight bout, Eubank Jr. was the victor of the highly anticipated fight as he was awarded a unanimous decision by the judges.

It was made known in the aftermath of the fight that there had been a contractual agreement for a rematch, which now seems set to take place.
Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn to rematch on September 20th
Although fighters such as George Groves have dismissed interest in a rematch between Eubank Jr. and Benn, it appears as if the rivals will meet again.
It has been announced by Ring Magazine that Eubank Jr. and Benn will meet again on September 20th in a rematch of their April meeting.
A venue has not been announced, however, the bout is supposedly set to take place in London. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a possibility for the rematch, while Wembley Stadium is also being assessed as an option.
The bout will once again be contested at middleweight, with the same 10-pound rehydration clause in place from their first meeting.
Eubank Jr. and Benn will likely have another fiery build-up to their first meeting, which included many battles of words, as well as the eventual victor of the fight slapping an egg into his opponent’s face.
Chris Eubank Jr. feels a rematch with Conor Benn will be easier
Shortly after his win over Benn, Eubank Jr. was a guest on the Diary of a CEO podcast.
Speaking on a potential rematch at the time, Eubank Jr. feels a second meeting with his rival would be an easier feat than the first.
Eubank Jr. said, “I’ve fought him. I’ve lived with him for 12 rounds. I know what he is, I know what he’s capable of. So in that aspect, the next fight for me should be a hell of a lot easier.”
“You know, I’m one of them fighters where, all I need is to experience it one time, then I know what to do with you,” Eubank Jr. added.
Eubank Jr. then referenced his rematch victory against Liam Smith as an example of how he can improve when given experience with a fighter.
Talking again about Benn, Eubank Jr. said, “I can practice, perfect, tweak my performance to take advantage of his weaknesses.”
