Former world champion Carl Frampton had a successful 12-year career that would see him pick up titles in two weight classes.
As a former super bantamweight and featherweight world title holder, the Northern Irish fighter went a remarkable 23 fights unbeaten in his career.
Despite ending his career with three losses, Frampton had some notable wins as a professional. This includes besting the likes of former Naoya Inoue opponent Nonito Donaire and Leo Santa Cruz.

Carl Frampton caused Darren Traynor to quit due to bodily punishment
Following a loss to Josh Warrington in a world featherweight title bout, Frampton bounced back with a win over Tyler McCreary.
Winning the bout via unanimous decision in November 2019, it was the first of back-to-back wins for ‘The Jackal’.
In August 2020, Frampton would compete in London, taking on Darren Traynor (16-3).
In what was a one-sided affair, Frampton was able to extend his record to 28-2. Clearly leading the bout, Frampton would land a crushing body shot in the sixth round of the bout. Traynor went down, but was somehow able to recover despite being on the receiving end of a hard shot.
In the seventh round of the fight, another left hand would connect to the body of Traynor. Although not going down, Traynor waved his hand at the referee as the bout was called off.
Carl Frampton would fight for world title in his final career outing
After earning back-to-back wins, Frampton would get the opportunity to fight for a world title in April 2021.
Fighting champion Jamel Herring, Frampton would be challenging for the WBO World Super Featherweight title. However, things would not go his way.
After being knocked down twice in the fight, Frampton’s corner threw in the towel in round six of the bout. In his post-fight interview, he announced his retirement from boxing.
Frampton has since dismissed the possibility of fighting again, as his final career record is 28-3.
