Showboating talent Ben Whittaker has gathered headlines with his unusual in-ring antics.
The prospect has been impressive in his career so far. Despite sporting an unorthodox style, Whittaker has yet to have been defeated as a professional.
The Olympic silver-medalist made his professional debut in 2022, and he announced himself to the world in style.

Ben Whittaker made his debut in style in 2022 with knockout win
In July 2022, a 25-year-old Whittaker would make his debut in Bournemouth, England. A year on from his Olympic Games performance, he was paired up with Greg O’Neill (6-6-1).
Whittaker seemingly had no nerves when it came to his first professional showing. Within the opening 30 seconds of the bout, ‘The Surgeon’ began showboating.
After picking up his opponent and dodging a punch, Whittaker gave a short dance to taunt his opponent.
Whittaker lead the fight throughout the first round, as he was clearly the faster and sharper of the pair. Further moments of showboating in the opening minutes included more dancing, slick head movement, and winding up his punches.
In the opening 20 seconds of the second round, Whittaker showed that he possessed some punching power as well as showmanship. A right hand would connect with O’Neill, who went down from the punch.
Unable to return to his feet, the fight was over as Whittaker had claimed his first win.
Ben Whittaker’s second fight would be on stacked event in Saudi Arabia
For his second professional outing, Whittaker would be part of a huge show in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The event was headlined by Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua II, as well as consisting of names such as Zhilei Zhang, Callum Smith, and Badou Jack.
Usyk would defeat ‘AJ’ in the main event, as Joshua was unable to right the loss that hurt him the most in their first meeting.
However, Whittaker was able to enjoy his night in Saudi Arabia. Facing Peter Nosic of Croatia, he would earn his second win. In a one-sided contest, Whittaker won the bout via unanimous decision.
