Anthony Joshua could face fighter who was obliterated by gigantic boogeyman, and a bitter rival, next

After a devastating stoppage loss to Daniel Dubois, Anthony Joshua is looking to get back to winning ways, and a new deal with Turki Alalshikh could land him a fight that has fans scratching their heads.

Anthony Joshua‘s dream to become a three-time heavyweight world champion was crushed as he suffered his most brutal loss yet at the hands of Daniel Dubois in front of over 60,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.

Joshua had previously lost to Oleksandr Usyk twice, and Andy Ruiz, who he later beat. He is now in talks for a two-fight deal with Turki Alalshikh, with two names being mentioned as potential opponents.

Anthony Joshua could face Jared Anderson next

Jared Anderson, who is coming off a comeback win in which he didn’t look too impressive, may be the frontrunner for Joshua’s next opponent. Anderson was criticized by Tim Bradley for moaning in his corner in his recent outing.

He suffered his first career defeat in 2024 as Anderson was destroyed by Martin Bakole in round five, after being dropped multiple times in the fight.

Anderson vs Joshua seems to be a confusing match-up, as whilst Anderson is younger and Joshua is coming off a loss, Anderson has not yet beaten anyone near to Joshua’s level, with his best win to date being a faded Charles Martin.

The first fight of the rumored two-fight deal will take place at the end of the year, likely around December.

Anthony Joshua could rematch his most bitter rival as part of rumored two-fight deal

The other name suggested was Dillian Whyte, who Joshua fought way back in 2015 for the British title.

Whyte and Joshua had much animosity, and were actually scheduled to rematch once already in 2023. Whyte was replaced with Robert Helenius after testing positive for PEDs.

Whyte also holds a win over Joshua in the amateurs, so the pair are technically one win apiece.

He did, however, look unimpressive in his most recent fight against Ebenezer Tetteh, who scored a bizarre KO once, and fans question what Whyte has left.
