Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou
Joshua took on Francis Ngannou in a huge event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia after the former MMA fighter had just nearly beaten Fury.
Many gave Ngannou a big chance of beating the former champion after his performance against ‘The Gypsy King’.
But Joshua made light work of the former UFC world champion and brutally stopped him in the second round with a huge right hand.
Anthony Joshua vs Robert Helenius
Joshua faced Robert Helenius after his original opponent Dillian Whyte failed a test for performance-enhancing drugs.
Helenius jumped in as a last-minute replacement and put in a good performance before being brutally stopped by a right hand.
Joshua parted ways with his trainer Derrick James after the contest and teamed up with his current coach Ben Davison.
Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua
Joshua defended his world championships against Andy Ruiz back in 2019 and was given the shock of his life.
The Brit came in as a huge favorite on his US debut against Ruiz and when he dropped his man in round three it looked like a routine fight.
What happened next no one expected, the Mexican got up off the canvas and put Joshua down twice in that same round.
Ruiz eventually stopped the Englishman in round seven to become Mexico’s first heavyweight world champion.
The rematch
Joshua then faced Ruiz again six months later in a rematch, this time in Saudi Arabia.
The Mexican looked like he hadn’t prepared properly for the contest as he looked a lot more fleshy than usual.
Joshua came in lighter for the rematch to help with his new tactics of out-boxing the much smaller man.
The Englishman put on a clinical performance and was able to keep Ruiz at bay with his jab for 12 rounds, winning back his titles.
Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury
Joshua has been linked with a huge fight with his domestic rival Fury ever since he turned professional back in 2013.

Now the two huge stars could finally be on the brink of signing one of the biggest fights in boxing history.
Joshua faces Dubois for the IBF title, while Fury takes on Usyk in a rematch for the WBA, WBC and WBO belts.
If the pair both win their respective bouts then we could finally see the biggest fight in British boxing history next year.
Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder
Joshua has been rumored to fight Wilder ever since he picked up the IBF world championship back in 2016.
The two fighters seemed to constantly be in talks for an undisputed clash but a deal was never close to agreement.
Fury then defeated Wilder twice and now after further defeats to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang it looks like we will never see this showdown.
Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk
Joshua defended his WBA, WBO, and IBF world heavyweight titles against Usyk in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on September 25, 2021.
The Englishman struggled with the Ukrainian’s movement and was picked off by the much smaller man.
Usyk was way ahead on the cards, but still decided to try and stop the champion in the last round and came very close.
The Ukrainian won the fight by unanimous decision and became a two-weight world champion after holding a title at cruiserweight.
A rematch was signed to take place in Saudi Arabia a year later.
The rematch
Joshua faced Usyk again on August 20, 2022, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in an attempt to win back the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight titles.
The Brit completely changed his tactics this time out and aimed to use his size and power against the smaller man.
The fight was closer but the Ukrainian still managed to outpoint the bigger man and win a split decision to keep hold of his titles.
After the fight, Joshua seemed to lose his mind in the ring and threw all the belts out before grabbing the microphone and arguing with the crowd.
The Brit then parted ways with his coaching team shortly after the contest and went to train in the United States.
