‘AJ will put him in a coma’… Fans react to huge size difference as Anthony Joshua meets Logan Paul

Jake Paul has made headlines recently after calling out former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua.

Jake Paul‘s latest fight came in the heavyweight division as Paul defeated an aged Mike Tyson in Netflix’s first foray into boxing.

Since then, the one name on Paul’s lips was Canelo Alvarez, and the fight seemed close to being made until Turki Alalshikh swooped in at the eleventh hour handing Canelo a multi-fight deal.

Paul has since claimed he has what it takes to stay in the heavyweight division and defeat Anthony Joshua, but footage from years ago shows that Joshua poses a far more real threat than Paul may think.

“I thought I was a big guy”… Anthony Joshua leaves Logan Paul in awe as AJ dwarfs him in meet-up

Years ago Joshua met Logan Paul, Jake’s older brother, and displayed the enormous size disparity.

Despite both Pauls being big men, with Logan standing at 6’2″ and Jake at 6’1″ (though many believe he’s slightly shorter), Joshua clearly dwarfs Logan standing at 6’6″.

Logan said at the meeting: “I thought I was a big guy… You’re a machine.”

With Joshua making the larger brother look small, it’s clear that Jake would have a mountain to climb facing Joshua.

Despite this, Jake said: “Here’s the thing, I want to fight Anthony Joshua, because I know that I will f—— Anthony Joshua’s a–.”

Joshua’s record sits at 28-4, with Joshua losing to Andy Ruiz, whom he later beat, Oleksandr Usyk twice, and most recently, in devastating fashion, Daniel Dubois.

Paul, who was called out by Mairis Briedis, on the other hand holds an 11-1 record, with his one loss coming at the hands of Tommy Fury. Paul lost to Fury because of his failure to execute the game plan and improper weight-cutting, according to Paul himself.

“They are delusional”… Fans react to huge size difference between Anthony Joshua and Jake and Logan Paul

Fans were quick to comment on Motivedia’s video on the size and skill differences between the pair, with one writing: “How could they even sanction this”

Another said: “Do people forget what AJ did to Francis?”

This refers to Joshua’s fight with MMA champion Francis Ngannou, who ran a close fight with Tyson Fury but was brutally stopped in two rounds by AJ, who beat Fury in sparring.

One did point at the money this fight would generate and considered it a good business move for Paul even if he were to lose: “AJ x Paul would do crazy numbers.”

It remains to be seen if the fight will ever happen, but if it does, many will tune in.
