In Tyson Fury’s first clash against Oleksandr Usyk, a big talking point surrounding the fight was ‘The Gypsy King’s’ corner team.
At this point in the fight week of their first fight, blood had already been drawn, not by either fighter but by the father of Tyson Fury, John Fury.
Father Fury caused absolute chaos when he headbutted a member of Oleksandr Usyk‘s team, leaving blood running down his own face.

Tyson Fury removes John Fury from his fight night corner team
John Fury has always come under extremely heavy criticism for his heavy involvement in the pre-fight antics of both of his sons, Tommy Fury and Tyson’s fights.
The 59-year-old was recently involved in a squirmish at a press conference involving Tommy and supposed opponent, Darren Till.
John Fury launched an open bottle of water in the direction of the former UFC star which caused a big ruckus between everyone on stage. The fight was later canceled after ‘TNT’ Fury stated that he was worried Till may kick him during the fight if it wasn’t going his way.
During ‘The Gypsy King’s’ fight week preparation for his rematch against the Ukrainian champion, there has been no sighting of John, despite the fact that for their fight earlier this May, he was part of Tyson’s corner team.
Ahead of their clash in Riyadh on Saturday night, SugarHill Steward has confirmed that John Fury won’t be part of the corner team.
“Tyson Fury is just ready right now, along with myself. He has always had a silly demeanor, and playing around but this is a different side of him, he is 100% ready. (In his corner it will be) just myself, Andy Lee, and the cutman, pretty much that’s it,” Steward said at the open workouts.
Tyson Fury’s wife breaks silence on no contact with ‘The Gypsy King’
The 36-year-old has come under criticism several times in the past for his underpreparation ahead of fights, especially when he fought Francis Ngannou last year.
With that, the former heavyweight champion decided to fully lock in this time around and admitted that he has not had contact with his wife or children for the past three months since ramping up his camp.
Fans didn’t truly believe the extent of Fury’s words up until his wife, Paris, broke her silence this past Wednesday, backing up the fact that ‘The Gypsy King’ hasn’t contacted her in three months.
“I’ve let him solely concentrate on this fight. It seems like he’s been gone forever, especially with no contact. But if it’s what he needs,” she said in a post on her Instagram story.
