The highly anticipated rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois is the headline fight on an impressive Wembley Stadium card on July 19.
After being knocked out in the first fight in Poland, Daniel Dubois looks to take the fight to Oleksandr Usyk in Wembley Stadium, hoping a hometown crowd can get him over the line against the world Heavyweight champion.
While Dubois has been tipped to beat Usyk by some, others are backing “The Cat” to make it 2-0 against “Dynamite” and keep his undefeated record intact.
Usyk is already considered one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, with a win here only solidifying what boxing fans already know, although a loss would make Dubois a superstar overnight.

The card also includes some other big fights, including Lawrence Okolie vs. Kevin Lerena and the giant Daniel Lapin taking on Lewis Edmondson in two impressive undercard bouts.
Ahead of Usyk vs Dubois 2, the experts at Bloody Knockout have picked their winners for the three top fights on the card, with some very interesting picks for the winner.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois predictions
- Ross Markey – Oleksandr Usyk
- Harvey Burton – Oleksandr Usyk
- James Sweetnam – Oleksandr Usyk
Despite his bravado in the build-up to the rematch, the Bloody Knockout experts simply cannot back Dubois to get his win back from Usyk.
Despite a controversial knockdown, he was thoroughly beaten by the undefeated champion in their first fight, before “The Cat” went on to pick up back-to-back wins over Tyson Fury in even more impressive fashion.
The Ukrainian fighter knocked out Dubois in the ninth round last time, and while the Englishman has improved since then, he has not done enough to beat Usyk, even with the hometown Wembley Stadium crowd behind him.
Usyk’s footwork and incredible work rate will be too much for the knockout artist, who will struggle the longer the fight goes on.
That is exactly in Usyk’s wheelhouse, and he will drag out the bout long enough to put away Dubois and end his world title ambitions then and there.
Lawrence Okolie vs. Kevin Lerena predictions
- Ross Markey – Lawrence Okolie
- Harvey Burton – Lawrence Okolie
- James Sweetnam – Lawrence Okolie
The Bloody Knockout staff once again are in agreement with the prediction here, as they all back Okolie to put away Lerena on the undercard of the Usyk/Dubois fight.
The two-weight world champion is the favorite for this fight, having impressed in his last two outings with first-round knockouts in what were quick and dominating performances for the Englishman.
He will be hoping to have another shot at the Cruiserweight title he lost to Chris Billam-Smith, in what is his only professional loss as of this time, with Lerena unlikely to get in his way.
The South African fighter has only won three of his last five bouts, which include getting knocked out in the third round by the man in the night’s main event, Dubois.
Daniel Lapin vs. Lewis Edmondson predictions
- Ross Markey – Daniel Lapin
- Harvey Burton – Daniel Lapin
- James Sweetnam – Daniel Lapin
The experts are three for three again in what looks to be quite a predictable top of the card on July 19. All three of them are backing Lapin to finish Edmondson.
Polish-born Lapin has a massive size advantage over his British opponent, standing at six feet and six inches compared to Edmondson’s relatively small six feet one frame.
This will make a huge difference in the Light Heavyweight fight, giving Lapin the advantage with his huge reach, being able to keep Edmondson away before going in for the kill.
Lapin’s last five fights have seen four knockouts, including a 107-second demolition of Octavio Pudivitr on the Fury/Usyk undercard, and he is the favorite to do the same to Edmondson at Wembley Stadium.
