Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois II: Bloody Knockout predictions suggest ‘The Cat’ will remain undefeated champion

The highly anticipated rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois is upon us, and the Bloody Knockout experts have given their view on who will walk out as world champion on July 19.

Oleksandr Usyk knocked out Daniel Dubois when they faced off in Poland in 2023, but two years later, he will face a much different beast in the ring.

The Englishman has picked up big wins against Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, and Anthony Joshua, proving his status as a top contender to the Heavyweight King’s throne.

Usyk is the undefeated unified world Heavyweight champion, and although Dubois wants to be the man to inflict his first defeat, he will have to battle the memories of their first fight as well as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

Now, the staff at Bloody Knockout have made their predictions about who will win the fight between Usyk and Dubois in Wembley Stadiu on July 19.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois predictions

Ross Markey: ‘I’m picking Usyk to defeat Dubois again this weekend. I think while Dubois has looked impressive in his wins since their first fight, it may just prove to be a fact that the Londoner is coming up as the greatest heavyweight of his generation again.”

PREDICTION: OLEKSANDR USYK TO WIN VIA LATE STOPPAGE

James Sweetnam: The fascination surrounding Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2 stems from one question: Was it a low blow? If it wasn’t, could the boxing genius have beaten the count, and if so, would he have been able to survive the bombs that would’ve undoubtedly been thrown in his direction?

The truth is, we’ll never find out for sure. In fact, with all the various camera angles, the only person who genuinely knows whether the shot was legal or not is Usyk himself. Regardless, after taking as much time to recover as possible, the two-weight world champion schooled his rival, en route to making him quit.

However, having proven himself against Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua, Dubois is entering the ring this time as a completely different fighter. To make the task even tougher for the champion, he is now nearly two years older than he was the first time. But despite this, I still believe Usyk will have enough to get the job done on points.

PREDICTION: OLEKSANDR USYK TO WIN VIA JUDGES’ DECISION

Harvey Burton: I think Oleksandr Usyk is too smart for Daniel Dubois, and as long as he is taking Dubois seriously at Wembley Stadium, he will win like last time.

There’s no doubt that Daniel Dubois has impressed in his recent fights, especially in that knockout win against Anthony Joshua. However, the memory of the first still lingers, and aside from the controversial ‘low blow’, it was hard to see where the win from Dubois was going to come from.

While the two years since their first fight will have affected them differently – Usyk doesn’t have time on his side at 38, while Dubois is quickly maturing into a top fighter – Usyk still has enough left to beat the young fighter for the second time in a row.

Dubois has learned a thing or two since then and might go the distance, but it won’t be enough to walk out of Wembley Stadium as world heavyweight champion.
