Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano III: Bloody Knockout predictions suggest a clean sweep for the ‘Bray Bomber’

The third fight in the Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano trilogy is closing in, and it could be the most exciting

The third installment of their saga takes place tonight as Madison Square Garden hosts Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano.

Taylor won the first two fights by judges’ decision, although the undisputed champion was called a dirty fighter by Serrano’s team, which marred her impressive victories.

The bout is the main event of an all-woman card, put together by Jake Paul and shown live on Netflix in what will be a historic night in women’s boxing.

Now, the staff at Bloody Knockout have made their predictions about who will win the fight between Taylor and Serrano.

Ross Markey: I think Taylor has the proverbial number of Serrano ahead of tonight’s trilogy. But it will prove interesting to see how the official will deal with potential indiscretions that presented themselves in their November rematch.

A lot has been made, too, of Taylor’s potential retirement — regardless of the result against Serrano, so that’s an added wrinkle to this trilogy clash.

Jordan Ellis: I expect a similar fight to the first two, with the same winner. Taylor is bigger and has a slight edge over her bitter rival, which will allow her to survive a few scares and get the job done by decision.

Harvey Burton: As much as I think KT is great, I would like to see Serrano get a win after two close fights. I thought she won the last one or was at least ahead before the cut, so I think she’s capable of winning, especially if age slows KT down. I’m gonna say Serrano edges it

PREDICTION: AMANDA SERRANO VIA DECISION

Hamish Woodward: Amanda Serrano definitely grew into herself throughout the first two fights, and you could argue she should have won the second one. However, Taylor also knows this and will be doing everything in her power to avoid any doubt about her victory over Serrano in the third installment.

I’m expecting another close fight, with the referee taking a much closer look at any potential headbutts on Taylor’s end. However, I think the Bray Bomber will come out on top again, making it a clean sweep of decision wins over Serrano in one of the all-time great trilogies.

Taylor vs Serrano III will be broadcast live on Netflix on July 12.
