The third fight in the trilogy between Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano is the main event of a historic card on July 12.
Madison Square Garden hosts Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 3 on a card promoted by newly-ranked title contender Jake Paul, shining a light on women’s boxing.
Taylor won the first two fights against Serrano, holding on to her WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring female light-welterweight titles in two of the best boxing matches of all time.
The third fight of their trilogy will be shown on Netflix, as will a number of all-woman fights with a variety of titles on the line, including Alycia Baumgardner’s fight with Jennifer Miranda and Shadasia Green challenging Savannah Marshall in two marquee matches.
Ahead of Taylor vs Serrano 3, the experts at Bloody Knockout have picked their winners for the three top fights on the card, with some very interesting picks for the winner.

Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 3 prediction
- Donal Long: Katie Taylor
- Jordan Ellis: Katie Taylor
- James Sweetnam: Amanda Serrano
Given the results in their first two encounters, it is no shock that two of the Bloody Knockout staff have all backed Taylor to go 3-0 against Serrano.
The “Bray Bomber” won the first two fights in their series, although there was some controversy over Taylor’s repeated headbutts during the bout.
Taylor started slow in the second fight and failed to land much in the early rounds. Serrano will hope to come out of the blocks flying and take advantage, should that happen again, and make the most of the early rounds if she wants to take home the win.
However, Taylor’s domination throughout her career will surely continue here. With a match against Holly Holm likely going to the winner, she has all the incentive to put Serrano away for good on July 12.
However, James sees things differently. He thinks Serrano will avenge her previous defeats and get one over on Taylor, becoming the champion in the main event shown to millions on Netflix.
Alycia Baumgardner vs Jennifer Miranda prediction
- Donal Long: Alycia Baumgardner
- Jordan Ellis: Alycia Baumgardner
- James Sweetnam: Alycia Baumgardner
The first undercard fight on the Taylor vs Serrano card sees another title fight, as the Undisputed Female Super Featherweight belt is on the line between Baumgardner and Miranda.
Baumgardner has been a fighting champion since first becoming Female Featherweight champion in 2021, adding more titles throughout the years until becoming the undisputed queen of the division.
She has a tough opponent in Miranda, who is undefeated in 12 fights, although at 38, her time to be the face of the division may have passed her by, especially when battling a much younger and more impressive fighter in Baumgardner.
The experts all backed Baumgardner to take home the win and remain the undisputed champion at the end of the night.
Savannah Marshall v Shadasia Green prediction
- Donal Long: Savannah Marshall
- Jordan Ellis: Savannah Marshall
- James Sweetnam: Savannah Marshall
It’s three for three for champions retaining their titles, according to the Bloody Knockout staff.
The experts have all given the nod for Marshall to continue her two-year reign as the Undisputed Female Super Featherweight champion at the expense of Green.
This is her first fight since winning the titles, so it is hard to call her reign impressive so far. She spent time fighting in MMA between her last two fights, although the experts don’t think the boxing ring rust will be an issue for the champion.
She is predicted to fight off the impressive-looking Green, who won the WBO Female Super Middleweight title in November last year. In this winner-takes-all fight, it looks like Green will be feeling blue by the time the final bell rings.
