Canelo Alvarez is making his Saudi debut in a huge Super-Middleweight clash against William Scull in Riyadh on May 3, 2025.

The Mexican fighter is aiming to become a two-time Undisputed Super-Middleweight Champion. He currently holds the WBO, WBA, and WBC belts, and Alvarez is aiming to unify them with William Scull’s IBF title.

It is the first of a four-fight Saudi deal for Alvarez with planned bouts against Chris Eubank Jr and Terence Crawford rumored to take place in the future.

The 34-year-old Mexican fighter has an impressive record of 62 wins in 66 fights in his career, while Scull is undefeated after 23 wins in a row since turning professional, with 9 being via knockout.

What time does Alvarez vs Scull start?

The first fight on the Alvarez vs Scull card is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM (ET), 10:00 AM (PT), and 6:00 PM (BST) on Saturday, May 3 in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

The length of the fights on the undercard will affect what time ring walk for the main event fight. However, we can expect Alvarez and Scull to make their ring walks at around 6:00 PM (ET), 3:00 PM (PT) and 11:00 PM (BST).

How to watch and live stream Alvarez vs Scull?

Alvarez vs Scull will stream exclusively in the US and the UK on pay-per-view on DAZN. The fight will cost $59.99 in the US, £21.99 in the UK, and the equivalent of $24.99 across the rest of the world.

Unlike previous fights, this one will not be available to purchase on Sky Box Office.

Badou Jack puts his WBC Cruiserweight title on the line against Noel Mikaelian. Jack was supposed to be defending against Canadian Ryan Rozicki, but an injury forced him to miss the fight against the champion.

Meanwhile, former WBO Junior Middleweight Champion Jaime Munguia is aiming to knock out Bruno Surace in their Super Middleweight clash. Munguia suffered his first loss ever to Alvarez last year and will be hoping to bounce back from two defeats in three against Surace in Riyadh.

Scull sent a warning to Alvarez before their fight.

Despite facing a man gunning to become Undisputed champion for the second time, Scull is confident ahead of his fight with Alvarez on May 3.

The Cuban spoke to FightHype before his bout in Saudi Arabia and sent a warning to his Mexican opponent.

Scull said: “Canelo, we are ready. We are very ready. We are looking to the third of May, and let’s see what is the last word in the ring that night.”

The pair will face off in the main event of the Alvarez vs Scull fight card on May 3 in Saudi Arabia.
